May Town hall – Stopping Racist Hate Incidents Against Black people in our Community
This will be a town hall to review the hate incident at the Millville Fire Station and other hate incidents in Sussex County. We will also focus on what can be done to stop these incidents.

Listed below are the speakers for the town hall.
Two volunteers-firefighters have been indicted for chasing a Black employee of the Millville Fire Department with a noose while screaming racial incidents department. This is just one of many.
This Town Hall will be about what we can do to stand up as a community and stop this!

- Angelo Reynolds: Trauma Specialist at the Transformer Academy will speak on Traumatic impact of hate incidents.
- Patty Maloney: Speak Out Against Hate (SOAH): Will speak about a new anti-hate campaign in Sussex County which will be announced on June 19th

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) will hold a Town Hall on May 21 at the Lewes Library at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to advocate for the cessation of hate incidents and harassment directed towards African Americans in Sussex County.
