The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice recently honored Shields Elementary students Jace Daisey and Kaia Reid for their leadership, improvement, effort and excellence.

Each student received a $20 gift card to Browseabout Books in Rehoboth and the book, “The Highest Tribute: Thurgood Marshall’s Life, Leadership, and Legacy,” by Kekla Magoon. SDARJ contributes $15 to each gift card, and Browseabout contributes $5. Read the entire Cape Gazette article here.
