Before the September 14 event, we encourage everyone to watch the TEDx talk, “How Can I Have a Positive Racial Identity? I’m White!” by Ali Michael. You can find the video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxXMf5K1W6E.
Although race is a social construct with no biological foundation, many of us in the predominantly white community often see race as something that other people have. Join the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice to explore what it means to be white in our multicultural society. An interracial panel will be co-moderated by Dr. Katherine Cauley and Rev. Dania Griffin.
