Immigrants’ Rights. Videos and Resources.

The vulnerable immigrants in our community who prepare the food we enjoy in restaurants, pack the meat we eat in our tables, tend the fields of our vegetables & fruits, clean our offices, hotels & hospitals are threatened with massive deportation at this time.

How can we help them? What can we do to protect them?

Knowing they have rights is the first step.

The ACLU in collaboration with the Brooklyn Defender Services  has developed videos in various languages to explain what to do if ICE appears at your door, is in your house, arrests you, etc. Languages include Spanish, Haitian Creole, Urdu and Arabic.

This administration will use immigrants to polarize, distract and hurt them; our hope lies in the fact that we are millions more on the immigrants’ side!

Except for the Native Americans, for 250 years, America has been a proud nation of immigrants!
