Honoring H.O. Brittingham Elementary students for their leadership, effort, and excellence
The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) recently honored H.O. Brittingham Elementary students Jordan Johnson and LySean Quail for their leadership, effort, and excellence.
Staff and teachers recognized Jordan Johnson, a kindergartener, for his exceptional leadership in class. Jordan is a kind, helpful, and motivated student. His teachers consistently compliment his use of the 7 Habits of Happy Kids (a FranklinCovey program) and commend him for being a role model for other kindergarten students who are beginning their journey at H.O. Brittingham.
LySean Quail, a third grader, was celebrated for his achievements in and outside of school. LySean is an exceptional student and is motivated to achieve his goals. He is a leader in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and on the playground. LySean was recently selected for the D1 football team and will play in the American Bowl in Texas. He is an outstanding young man with great potential.
Surrounded by family and staff, Jordan and LySean were honored in a ceremony at the school, and each received a $20 gift card to Browseabout Books in Rehoboth.
