Expungement Clinic a Big Success
Thanks to the Alliance members who volunteered to assist with the Sussex County expungement clinic, which was held on July 21 and assisted fifty individuals, including forty-three with juvenile records. Volunteers assisted by telephoning clients for their fingerprinting appointments and escorting individuals at both the fingerprinting and the clinic itself. The donations of members assisted approximately thirty-five people by paying for the fingerprinting/record search costs. The Office of Defense Services, which organized the clinic, is already talking about another clinic in the fall.
