SDARJ seeks an Executive Director
SDARJ seeks an Executive Director (ED) to partner with the Board and Steering Committee to implement the vision and plan of the organization. This position may be full-time or part-time and reports directly to the SDARJ Board chair. The ED’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Much of the racial turmoil in our country today can be traced directly to elements of our history, even before the founding of the United States. Many of the racial stereotypes we hear – or hold – are a direct consequence of intentional economic and public policy and beliefs that have no grounding in genetics. Understanding this history gives us a foundation for action to address the profound inequities that exist in our society today.

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) recently honored Mariner Middle School students Myan Greene and Geremiah Curtis for their leadership, effort, and excellence. The students were recognized in a ceremony at the school and received $20 gift cards to Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach.

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) recently honored Southern Delaware School of the Arts 7th grader Aaliyah Cannon for her leadership, effort, and excellence. Aaliyah was recognized in a ceremony at the school and received a $20 bookstore gift card.
