Ernie Freeman was a two-time Grammy Award winner, who helped break the color barrier in the Hollywood recording industry. He was an American keyboardist, bandleader, arranger, and producer, active as a professional musician from the 1940s into the 1970s.
The Daisey family has held residence in Lewes since 1773. The name is woven into the fabric of the first city of the first state. Join with us to hear stories of their ancestors, their defining role in our community’s history, and learn of their current efforts, not only to preserve, but also to carry on the legacy of their elders.
