Delaware Politics 101-April 10th

Over the past year, many of us have been politically activated (or reactivated!) with a passion to create change from the bottom up; however, we may not have the tools necessary to knowledgeably and effectively create change within our locale.

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice is teaming up with Women’s March – Sussex County to bring you Intro to Delaware Politics 101. This interactive discussion will provide the basic knowledge to understand Delaware’s local government structure, seats available in 2018 elections, and how to get involved this election year. We want to encourage participation and collaboration, as well as maximize efforts of individuals and groups to be as successful as possible in achieving local legislative goals and objectives, including getting women into office!

There will be a maximum of 80 seats to allow for interactive Q&A. If the session fills up, there will be a waiting list so can we can offer another session in the future.
