GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. This is your opportunity to help support the mission of The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) to educate, inform, and advocate for racial justice, equality, and fair opportunity. Together we can make a difference!
Over 600 Delaware nonprofits have profiles on the Delaware Gives platform (DEGives.org) where you can learn more about what they are doing to impact the community and donate to support their efforts year-round.
#GivingTuesday takes place this year on Tuesday, December 2, 2024.
The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) is proud to offer a wide range of programs that directly support racial equity, education, youth empowerment, and systemic change. These initiatives are not just impactful—they are essential.
Your support helps sustain and grow 13 vital programs, including:
- Dialogue to End Racism, which equips participants with the tools to challenge racism constructively in everyday life.
- The Charlotte King Scholarship Program, offering financial support to African American high school seniors pursuing higher education.
- Monthly Town Halls and Book/Film Discussions, creating space for community learning and dialogue.
- Black Voices Magazine, reaching over 17,000 households with stories and insights that matter.
- Legislative Advocacy and Strategic Partnerships, amplifying our voice in policy and reform.
- Youth Programs, including achievement awards, ambassador opportunities, and safe spaces for conversation.
- Returning Citizens Support Services, helping formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate and thrive.
