SDARJ Town Hall – Critical Race Theory: Myths, Misconceptions and Reality

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice and the YWCA-DE are co-sponsoring a virtual Town Hall on October 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The title of the Town Hall is “Critical Race Theory: Myths, Misconceptions and Reality.”  Community experts will discuss the origins and intent of Critical Race Theory (CRT), how it is used, the current controversies surrounding the use of the CRT and how it is being confused with teaching black history in the schools, how HB 198 will impact teaching history and other issues surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion in our schools.
