Kathleen MacRae, Executive Director of the ACLU of Delaware will discuss “School Equity in Delaware” at our January 16th Meeting

Our guest speaker will be Kathleen MacRae, the executive director of the ACLU of Delaware. She will be presenting on the topic of school equity covering such questions as: Do students from all socioeconomic backgrounds have equal access to high-quality educational opportunities? Are the needs of English language learners being adequately addressed in Delaware? Are all students with special learning challenges being provided the services they require? And finally—if the needs of all Delaware students are not being met, what can we do about it? The ACLU believes that every child in Delaware deserves a fair chance at a high-quality education. Come join the discussion about how that can be achieved.
