Sussex Consortium students Christian Partlow and Pastor Purnell were recognized Feb. 22 with the African American/Black Achievement Award from the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice. Read the entire Cape Gazette article here.
Cape Henlopen High School seniors Abigail Ikechi-Konkwo and Jordan Winkfield are the first two students in the school district to receive the African American/Black Achievement Recognition Award from the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ). The SDARJ’s Education Committee initiated the award to recognize students who represent ideals of leadership, effort and excellence in their schools.
