SDARJ African American Achievement Award at Long Neck Elementary School

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) recently honored Long Neck Elementary School student Arianna Green for her leadership, effort, and excellence. Arianna was recognized in a ceremony at the school and received a $20 bookstore gift card.
According to teachers and faculty, Arianna is an exceptional student who excels academically and demonstrates strong leadership skills. She is a member of the Excel program at Long Neck Elementary and the Honor Society, showcasing her dedication to learning and achievement. An out-of-the-box thinker, Arianna takes great pride in her academics and consistently puts forth her best effort.
Beyond the classroom, Arianna is a fluent communicator who expresses her ideas with confidence. She is not only a dedicated student but also a supportive and kind friend to her peers. Her involvement in the drama club highlights her creativity and willingness to explore new opportunities. Arianna is a pleasure to have in class, and her commitment to excellence is truly inspiring.
SDARJ initiated the African American Achievement award to recognize students who represent the ideals of leadership, improvement, effort, and excellence in their schools. Students from each school in the Cape Henlopen and Indian River School Districts are recognized throughout the school year.
