Get Ready to Vote this November 5th
Election Day is November 5, 2024. On the ballot are President, Vice President, and Delaware State and Local elections. Statewide, the Governor, Lt. Governor, and Insurance Commissioner positions are open. In Sussex County, Senate Districts 6, 18, 19, 20, and 21, all House Representative Districts, and all Sussex County Council districts are in play.
Did you know that as a result of legislation passed in 2023, early voting is possible. Early voting begins on October 25 and is possible at selected sites. In addition, if you will be out of your district on November 5, you may apply for an absentee ballot. Simply fill out an application at the Department of Elections web site and you will receive your absentee ballot in about a week to ten days. Fill out the ballot and mail it in!
