SDARJ Western Sussex County Bus Tour
If you can’t catch the bus to demonstrate in DC, then catch the bus with us on Saturday, June 14th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a day filled with discovering new and beautiful places, learning Sussex County history, and visiting significant African American historic sites.
We will ride in a comfortably air conditioned, 56-passenger motor coach bus and will begin and end the tour in Georgetown. Local historian, Artez West will take us to 7 towns on the western side of the county while he and Laurel community leader, Robin Fisher, share their wealth of knowledge about many unique places and stories. We will meet and hear from other local leaders along the way and over lunch.
Cost for the tour is $40/person which includes drinks, snacks and driver’s tip. Bring a bag lunch for our lunch stop in Laurel.
