SDARJ Presents Black Poetry: from Black Love to Black Lives Matter
The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice (SDARJ) will present “Black Poetry: from Black Love to Black Lives Matter,” at a town hall meeting on Tuesday, April 13, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., via Zoom. Headliners are 2021’s hottest new star Amanda Gorman, reading “The Hill We Climb,” and H.E.R., 2021 Grammy Award Winner for Song of the Year “I Can’t Breathe.”
SDARJ awards Love Creek, Mariner students

Love Creek Elementary students Kendall DeShields and Mikiah Jackson, and Mariner Middle students Adrianna Powell and Ada Spells were recognized March 17 with the African American/Black Achievement Award from the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice.

Awards will be made to Sussex County graduating seniors for the 2020-2021 academic year.
