Because Black voices are conspicuously missing from high positions in areas of life that affect everyone, the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice is launching “Black Voices” magazine.
“Black Voices” will speak to the need of listening to these voices as equal partners in order to build a more just and equitable democracy.

The SDARJ November Town Hall will feature the voices of current and recently graduated students from across the State. We will explore the current status of racial dynamics in our schools based on students’ real-life experiences. We will discuss, from a student perspective: what school administrators and faculty are doing to improve racial dynamics and what challenges remain; the implications of having a faculty that reflects the diversity of the student body; the importance of teaching a more complete version of American history; and the issues that are on the minds of students today.
