Founded in 1994, the Delaware Juneteenth Association is the oldest organization that celebrates Juneteenth in Delaware. Please join us
for a series of historical events that will educate our community and commemorate the end of slavery on June 19, 1865!
SDARJ to host a celebration of Juneteenth
We are presenting “A Celebration of Juneteenth” at our town hall meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., via Zoom. The program will include a presentation of the history and significance of the new national holiday, original poetry, dance, music, and reminiscences of Juneteenths past. Register here.
