Shanyla is a member of the Tri-M Honors Society and GSA, where she has demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills. She has a strong voice for inclusivity and acceptance within our school community. Committed to volunteering, Shanyla has accumulated more than 100 hours of service.

Surrounded by family and school staff, Sophia and MJ were honored in a ceremony at the school, and each received a $20 gift card to Browseabout Books in Rehoboth.
On February 7, 2024, the SDARJ Steering Committee elected Clara Licata Chairperson, following the decision of. Charlotte King, SDARJ founder and eight-year Chairperson not to seek re-election. Rev. Marjorie Belmont-Burns was elected Vice Chair, filling Clara’s Vice Chair position.
