Beaches Moms Demand Action Candlelight Vigil
Beaches Moms Demand Action is having a candlight vigil Sunday, June 7th, 4-5 PM at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth. The vigil is to bring attention to those lost to gun violence in a single year and the ripple effect it has on our community. We will have tabling for our Community Partners 5-6PM.
One hour vigil with speakers, singing and music to support those affected by gun violence. Followed by tabling to inform about our Community Partners who team up with us to prevent gun violence.
Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities are disproportionately impacted by gun violence. We want to build a movement that can tackle gun violence in all communities; doing that requires that people from all communities are part of our team. Providing information about your racial identity is optional and helps us build the most impactful movement possible.
