SDARJ Western Sussex County Bus Tour
Yes, you have another chance to tour western Sussex County to see rural beauty and learn important history along the way!
The Western Sussex Bus Tour will take place on Saturday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., leaving from the Georgetown Plaza (1 Georgetown Plaza, 19947–behind KFC on Rt. 113).
Enjoy discovering new and beautiful places, learning Sussex County history, and visiting significant African American historic sites. We will ride in a comfortably air conditioned, 56-passenger motor coach bus as local historian, Artez West takes us to 7 towns on the western side of the county and he and Laurel community leader, Robin Fisher, share their wealth of knowledge about many unique stories and places.
We will meet and hear from other local leaders along the way and over lunch.
Cost for the tour is $45/person which includes drinks and snacks provided by SDARJ, but bring a bag lunch for our lunch stop in Laurel.
