Recent Initiatives and Accomplishments and the Future of the Alliance

Since Delaware has recently convened the 149th session of the General Assembly, the legislative/advocacy committee will report on significant legislation.  The committee will also introduce you to the APEX program where you can help previously incarcerated adults and youth expunge their criminal records.

The education committee will report on the development of our African-American Literature and History study program which will have its first meeting at the Lewes Library in February.

We will also review your input from the December 13 meeting about where we go from here and continue to seek your recommendations for future events and initiatives.

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice usually meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm, at the Trinity Faith Christian Center at 15516 New Road in Lewes. Our program and business meetings are open to the public. Come to our meetings to learn about racial justice issues, and find out how you may want to become involved with SDARJ.
